Your tires need to be ready for the winter season. You can tell that something is amiss with the tires if the tire warning light comes on and won’t go off even after you inflate the tires. The tire pressure waning light system is for vehicle models after 2008. It shows that your vehicle loses pressure fast if it stays on after inflating the tires.

Your tires also need replacement if the treads are worn down to a point that the remaining treads do not cover the first part of the Lincoln head in a penny. When the tires lose their tread, they lose their traction and are more likely to burst.

Other signs include cracks and cuts on the sides of the tires. These little or large cracks are signs of damages by the weather or when you have not used the vehicle in a long time. Check for any other obvious signs of damage, such as bulges and deep cuts.
