At Reynolds Collision Center, we want to prepare you for driving during the winter months. You do not want to be stranded somewhere and not have supplies to sustain you until help arrives. One of the best things you can have in your vehicle is a winter survival kit.

The first thing you need to do is create a list of all the supplies you want to put in the kit. A list of items for a winter survival kit should include:

• A first-aid kit
• Jumper cables
• Flashlight with extra batteries
• Blankets, gloves, socks, and hats
• Road flares
• Bottled water and non-perishable foods like granola bars, nuts, and beef jerky

Make sure you have a place in your vehicle where you can store your winter survival kit. You can also keep this kit in your home. Be sure to take this kit with you before going on a long road trip to your favorite winter destination.
